Nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of Frederick County, Elk Run Vineyards is surrounded by dairy and horse farms, as well as fields of wheat and corn. Named after the nearby “Elk Run” stream, this property’s history stretches back to colonial times with a land grant from the King of England to Lord Baltimore, and the winemaker’s historic home dates to 1756.
Elk Run offers a warm, hometown atmosphere with vintage charm, making it an ideal venue for weddings, business gatherings, and private events. With scenic views and Instagram-worthy sunsets, it’s a hidden gem among event spaces.
Facility Rental Options:
Party Tents: Elk Run provides two outdoor tents, each measuring 30×30 feet. The unique “Cinderella” hexagon tent and the rectangular tent together can accommodate 100-150 guests. For larger gatherings of 150-200 guests, a third tent can be rented from one of Elk Run’s preferred vendors.
Champagne Room: This intimate indoor space is perfect for small gatherings of 10-15 people and is surrounded by Elk Run’s finest vintage wines. It also doubles as a bridal suite with direct restroom access.
On-Site Ceremonies and Custom Favors:
Elk Run hosts on-site ceremonies with half an hour of rental time, complete with white ceremony chairs and full setup and breakdown service. To add a unique touch to your event, Elk Run offers custom wine labels and personalized wine glasses (minimum order applies).
