Family-Owned Vineyard & Winery
Dove Valley Vineyard and Winery is a multi-generation,100 – acre family farm located on the outskirts of Rising Sun. Dove Valley owners, Harry and Janet Hepbron, planted the first vines in 1998 with the distinction of being the first vineyard and winery in Cecil County. Their ultimate dream was to create a family legacy- a flourishing wine business that will be handed down to future generations .
Grape varietals currently used to create our award winning vintages include Cabernet Franc, Vignole, Zinfandel, Merlot, Riesling, Bianca, and Pinot Noir. Several of our wines have achieved recognition at Finger Lakes International Competitions and the Maryland Governors Cup, where they were selected for Best in Class and numerous Gold, Silvers, and Bronze awards.
