Our one-of-a-kind vineyard, nestled in the scenic hills of Frederick County, MD, offers a unique and intimate setting for you and your guests. Choose to exchange vows overlooking the vines at sunset and celebrate your reception on our back patio or under a tent, depending on your guest count.
Black Ankle Vineyards is dedicated to producing exceptional wines on our 146-acre property, with each grape carefully grown on-site. Our eco-friendly practices include using homegrown materials for our buildings, solar energy, and sustainable farming techniques that reflect our respect for the land.
Our tasting room, ideal for intimate events of up to 75 guests, showcases breathtaking vineyard views and features a handcrafted bar, cozy fireplace, and beautiful maple tables. Built from materials harvested from the farm, the space includes a 430-square-foot covered breezeway, a sunlit covered porch, and ADA-compliant bathrooms. The tasting room’s design combines rustic charm with environmentally-friendly touches, such as a living roof and solar panels, creating a memorable setting for discerning couples.
Facility Rental Details:
Black Ankle Vineyards does not host private events on Fridays or Saturdays due to our 9 pm closing time. For larger gatherings, a tent can be arranged to accommodate more guests.
